Terms of Service

Last updated: August 26, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of OralScan AI (“the Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your jurisdiction) to use OralScan AI. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate.

3. No Medical Advice

OralScan AI provides wellness observations only. It is not a medical device, does not diagnose conditions, and does not replace professional dental care. Always consult a qualified dentist or healthcare provider for diagnosis, treatment, and medical decisions. Do not delay seeking professional care because of anything you read in the Service.

4. Your Content

You retain ownership of the scans, images, and information you submit. You grant us a limited license to use that content solely to provide and improve the Service, including generating AI observations and storing your history. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to upload any images you submit.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful or harmful purpose.
  • Attempt to access another user’s data or disrupt the Service.
  • Submit content that is harmful, infringing, or not yours to share.
  • Reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the AI models or Service.
  • Share your account credentials with others.

6. AI Accuracy & Limitations

AI observations are generated by models and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. You are solely responsible for any decisions or actions you take based on the Service, and you use it at your own risk.

7. Third-Party Services

The Service may connect to your intraoral camera, external AI providers, mapping services, and dental directories. We are not responsible for the content or practices of those third parties. Connecting to a dental professional is a relationship between you and that provider.

8. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or for any other reason we reasonably determine.

9. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including any reliance on AI observations.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms take effect when posted here with a revised “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Contact Us

Questions about these Terms can be sent through the Contact Us section in Settings. We will respond as promptly as we reasonably can.
